ETHOS
RAW spreads across two buildings and three floors. Part Victorian, part Art Deco it is an eclectic mix of designs. Throughout the venue we have used natural "RAW" materials contrasting with modern zinc and steel. Whilst the design is edgy we have never compromised on quality - whether we talk about the drink, sound or the management of the venue -quality is paramount backed up by a safe and secure venue.
MAIN ROOM
The main room with its urban vibe has a large bar overlooking the dance floor, which has exposed brick and steel overseen by one of our professional DJ's who control the state of the art lighting and our stunning sound system.

We ask that no sports clothing or hoodies are worn. Anyone found to be using illegal substances or intoxicated will be refused entry. RAW operates a zero tolerance on drug abuse.

Mark "Simmo" Simcard
Mark, known to most as Simmo has gigged at numerous venues across the North East. Simmo is also hugely influential in one of the north-east's top student rock/indie nights, Rebel, with Simmo featuring on Steve Lamacq's show on BBC Radio.
