Come and enjoy RAW’s vibrant yet relaxing space. Drink, dance or just hang out with your friends and family.

Ethos
RAW spreads across two buildings and three floors. Part Victorian, part Art Deco it is an eclectic mix of designs. Throughout the venue we have used natural “RAW” materials contrasting with modern zinc and steel. Whilst the design is edgy we have never compromised on quality – whether we talk about the food, drink, sound or the management of the venue – quality is paramount backed up by a safe and secure venue.

Main Floor
Once you have gone through our entrance lobby and up the stairs you enter the main area. The wooden floors and original brickwork is complemented with striking zinc bar. The dance floor is overseen by our professional DJ’s who control state of the art lighting and probably Whitby’s best sound system. Interaction with the DJ’s is encouraged.

The Upper Bar
If you want to chill, hang out with friends or even fancy a place to mix and mingle, head on up to the second floor. The Upper Bar is a step into a warm, open and light area. It has a totally different feel to the main bar. The sound levels here are reduced to allow your conversation to flow. The Upper Bar serves a selection of great cocktails and fine wines, along with distinctive bottled beers in addition to the more usual draughts.

Entrance Policy
We ask that no sports clothing or hoodies are worn. Entrance may be refused if you have dirty clothing so scrub up before coming down. Anyone found to be intoxicated will not be allowed to enter the venue.

RAW operates a zero tolerance on drug abuse.
